The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated read more Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level designed for intervention encounters a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to empower the servicing of all clients and raise use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
